CDT and NDC initiated realization of the program Female Government with aim to promote women and their participation in political, social, and economic life of Montenegro.

Society is, at the moment, occupied by wide-spread thought that there are no women in Montenegro who have adequate professional references, experience and education and simultaneously, willingness to participate in politic at the same time.

First phase of the program’s implementation started in May, 2008., when series of meetings were held with different institutions, organizations, donors, commercial companies, political parties and media, with aim to involve wider social layers in the program and to gain wider public support.

Organizers of the program Female Government are Center for Democratic Transition (CDT) and Nansen Dialogue Center (NDC).

Authors of the project Female Government are the Deputy of CDT’s director Dragan Koprivica, and NDC’s Coordinator Boris Raonic. They are also coordinators of the program.
